As I write this column, the cost of the Iraq War is about $439 billion. By the time we reach the five year mark, we will have spent $500 billion. We can debate the "surge," the reasons for the war, if it is indeed a civil war, but we can’t debate the costs. The billions of dollars spent is set down in black and white in the budget, and the various war supplemental funding bills have been passed by Congress and signed into law by the president

Roger Goodell is certainly a man I have grown to like over his tenure as NFL commisioner. However, his caving in to the "politically correct police" and scaring away Rush Limbaugh as a potential part-owner of the St. Louis Rams causes some concern here. Who guitarist Pete Townsend is set to play for the world on the 50 yard line in Miami at Superbowl XXXXIV. Townsend was caught purchasing thousands of images of child pornography and forced to register as a sex offender.

Professor at the center of Climategate now admits there are serious flaws in his research, no warming since 1995 & significant warming periods have happened before that weren't caused by man.
