Why Ken Defeats Keri

#1 While both shows are partisan, on 1420 AM Ken allows Democrats to appear and doesn't bite their head off. Keri's insecurities about conservatives are obvious and awkward.
#2 While Ken's audience grows and gets younger, Keri's has wandered off bored of the shill and those who do listen are old fogies. Her two star callers are a combined 343 years of age; Margaret (who is ready to quit calling) and Larry Mancini ("Mr. M") Tiverton RI's Democrat Town Committee Chairman (and co-founder of Rhode Island with Roger Williams) who likes to link Halliburton, Rove, the Illuminati and Charlton Heston to unsubstantiated conspiracies or something like that.
We're Senile Anti Republicans is just horrid radio.
#3 Ken allows Hillary supporters and campaign managers on as well as Obama's senior advisors, nevermind Republicans. Keri turns away anyone she isn't planning to vote for including Madeline Albright who wanted to speak for Hillary and was denied.
#4 Ken is invited to television and radio studios on local and national levels, Keri appears at LNG protests for the photo-op and show promotions but then calls Ken a "Media whore" for appearing on Fox, NECN, The Boston Globe, San Diego's KOGO..etc
#5 Ken tells the truth. Keri does..sometimes. However: $250K + in salary. Arbitron ratings lies lies lies. Incredulous lies about Republican Committee man Steve Martin and busted by her own listener..ok technically listeners.
THAT....may be why better than 2 out of 3 Bristol County talk radio listeners in the Fall River/ New Bedford market choose Ken over Keri. --

Pretty funny. It's easy to make claims about arbitron performance on a blog when anyone in the business knows that those numbers are proprietary data, and neither side can publish them publicly to support or refute any such claims.
With the exception of 12+ numbers, which are about as meaningful and reliable as a website poll.

To Garcia: Hey Ed, your boss used the 12+ numbers to show how she felt her ratings were higher than mine on her blog last year so I guess she used meaningless crap as well. Also, unlike those who haven't paid, we here at Citadel have. We know the truth. I know you sound like a fool on the air but don't you take a breather? Setting aside for the fact that the essence of my post was not responded to, and also the name calling and personal attacks, there's no intent to maintain anonymity about the screen name I've used for three or so years.
Google it sometime and tell me how long it takes you to figure out who i am.

What lies has Keri said about Steve Martin? I do not listem to her show so I have no idea what she says. She and her 12 listeners suck. Anyone who rubs shoulders with former Swansea selectmen Butch Senna and Butch Hyland is a questionable person to say the least.

I had a similar experience with Keri as Sean related above... I challenged her repeatedly to cite her sources on Iraqi civilan casualty stats, & her scurrilous claims about Jeff Beatty... She muted my phone to deny me any rebuttal while she went on a screed, then didn't allow me the opportunity to counter, hung up & claimed an intellectual victory...
The left has much to learn about talk radio...

as a conservative who has called Keri I can attest to the fact that when Keri hears a point that she can't refute she promptly hangs up and goes on a 10 minute diatribe attempting to discredit the caller(at least thats what she does to me)

Are you kidding me? Its not even close. Ken has a way more professional show and I have no clue about the Bristol County ratings but he is broadcasting from the eastern most point in Bristol while she is centralized in Fall River. By rights she should have way stronger numbers.

kerry show sucks! One time I called and tore up the debate on Iraq, she turned down my mic so i could not respond to her. when i hung up she told the listeners that i couldn't take the truth and I HUNG UP!! LIAR! I kept yelling hello! hello! this happened twice to me! kerry is rude, mis-guided,ill advised & if you are not a flaming lib like her, she will not listing with an open mind! she is brain washed! she wont even leave her e-mail on her website everyone else does @ WSAR when you gop to her website all you see is her baby new photos daily! sean fall river ma
