Sources within WSAR have told me that Mr. Moran was released due to sponsor complaints that the station's listening demographics are "too old".

As far as I'm concerned Mike Moran was a competant and professional small market talk radio host who deserved to be spared of the failure of the programming at that rabidly liberal station. Yeah, Mike is a lib but one that was able to stand his liberal ground for years without slandering or muting the opposing  opinion of the callers who are dumped the minute they make a valid point espousing conservative views. These tools sadly, are the only ones in the box for the ones there now, with the exception of Barry Richards who carries that team.
