A wise man once told me he was a liberal because he believed the liberal goal was a society in which a higher sense of moral purpose dictated a demand for less order… In other words, liberals envision a society of people whose moral standards are so high that it would require less police and fewer laws to govern them…  I’ll try to remember that the next time I buckle my seatbelt as per the state mandate…

I see no sense of moral purpose in the liberal movement in this country… What I do see is attempt after attempt to limit my pursuits in life, liberty, and happiness… 

Case in point...I enjoy hearing other opinions on the radio to offset the leftist screeds I hear on the big 3 TV News outlets or read in my local newspaper… In fact because of talk radio, I am aware of several authors, websites, and online news forums that I may never have become familiar with had it not been for, Rush, Neal, Sean, Bill, Howie or Ken…  

For whatever reason the liberal message does not resonate with the vast majority of the American people, this is evident by the failure of Air America… In any other venue such a complete failure to capture an audience would be the catalyst to change something about the content of the show, alas to elite leftist liberals it means government must do something to stifle the winners of the radio war…  Enter “the fairness doctrine”…

In terms everyone can understand the fairness doctrine works like this…
Liberal Problem: Liberals are tired of losing the Emmy award to the Sopranos…
Liberal solution: outlaw  Mobster shows on Television

The fairness doctrine is an attempt by leftist liberals to take away the only meaningful forum that conservatives have at their disposal, talk radio…

ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC, all have overtly left wing bias’ as has been evident for some 15 years, yet no one is calling for a fairness doctrine to be imposed on mainstream media outlets…

If there actually were Fair reporting from the mainstream media, more folks would know that troops deaths are down some 73% in Iraq over the last 4 months… (Isn’t that a measure of success for the surge formulated by that lying, scheming, lackie of the President General David Petreus ?)…  For some reason from the Big TV3 on down to a toiletry like the Standard Times, success is being ignored by the scribes and reporters whose fundamental purpose it is to keep you, the voting public, informed as to what is going on in this crazy world… 

It can’t be that the Elite Leftist Liberal doesn’t want the general public to know how wrong they have been in their characterizations of the man who is turning out to be President Bush’s version of a modern day U.S. Grant ???  Quite obviously to democrats and liberals, victory over Al-Qaida in Iraq means defeat at the polls in the next presidential election and they know it…

If there was any fairness in reporting perhaps more of us would know…

On Nov. 5th it was reported (albeit not widely) that Hillary Clinton is taking campaign contributions from people who are under investigation for terror funding…

This is not an isolated incident, Mrs. Clinton came under similar scrutiny during her 2000 Senate run, when it was announced that she had received money from the Abdurahman M. Alamoudi founder of the controversial American Muslim Council (to avoid scrutiny & still keep the money Mrs. Clinton changed his organization to the American Museum Council on her federal donor reports)…  In anticipation of the knee-jerk reactions that I am once again displaying my Islamophobia I have provided a couple of quotes that I feel best capture the man… ( from Pg. 269 of “Infiltration” by Paul Sperry)

While no one can fault the Junior Senator from New York for not vetting every contributor to her campaign; I can’t help but ask myself why terrorists would want to see Mrs. Clinton elected as opposed to say Rudy Giuliani, who famously turned down 10 million dollars just because he didn’t like the rhetoric coming from the would be donor…

Yes, I too long to live in a world where a greater sense of moral purpose dictates the need for less order… However, I don’t believe compromising my most sacred unalienable right, (that of life), is where to begin…
