Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints. The matchup was a very good one. Peyton Manning threw two crucial interceptions in the fourth quarter to seal the Colt's fate but it was very entertaining. The Saints won 31-17 and showed that their secondary was a very good one afterall.
I guess the NFL question of our era is strengthened a bit more: Who is a better quarterback, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady?
As far as the half time performance by The Who, I couldn't get past the pedophile Pete Townsend. The songs were all legendary and while I love Roger Daltry, it was somewhat comical when his voice failed. He looked obviously horrified when his voice hit sour notes or cracked. His eyes looked quickly left and right as if he was hoping to pass the blame over to a musician. It reminded me of Deputy Barney Fife who absolutely sucked in choir practice and told Sheriff Andy that "Irv was a little off."
BY THE WAY? Next year I demand the NFL put the reunited Van Halen on center stage for the Superbowl!! (Real surprise that I would lobby for that right?)

There should be a law passed unanimously by both houses of Congress mandating that Whitney Houston sing the National Anthem at all Super Bowls. The following is Whitney Houston performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXV, just as Operation Desert Storm was starting. WARNING TO JACK SPILLANE: CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES OF A PROUD NATION CELEBRATING OUR ARMED FORCES!!! For perhaps the best rendition of our National Anthem ever performed, see the following link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1QmeEdFOSc Another great version of Whitney doing the National Anthem here.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjnXViRk2mU

Part of me wanted Peyton to win, just because he is a really great QB. The other half wanted him to lose because I want Patriot Nation to have the greatest QB of our lifetime! That said, you must give Tracy Porter credit for a great anticipation of that pass. It wasn't a poor pass, it was a great read by Porter! Tom Brady is still the greatest QB!
If your going to go that route, why not have the original Van Halen?

Great game! I took great delight in being wrong re: my prediction of a 31-28 Indy win. Got the Saints Pick 6 correct though not the right player.
Tom Brady remains the best QB of this era. Just Ask Ski Boots Marino what he would rather have passing titles or SB Rings.
