The spoiled brat is now truly on his own in Washington. With the death of Senator Edward Kennedy, his son is now unchecked and unrestrained from his father's guidance. Loyal Democrats who see this Massachusetts family as an American monarchy will look to the next generation for the continuance of Camelot and will discover that this group really lives in "Can't a lot"

Never before has there been such as drop in talent from one generation to the next in political talent. One would have thought that the family would benefit by the massive investments by paying for years of constant guidance for these children of John, Robert and Ted. Being groomed by the best teachers, mentors, tutors and personal image consultants should have kept the Kennedy family from plummeting in the political world.

While not all of have made senseless remarks and have been caught in scandals, pretty much all of the Kennedy's who had open political ambitions are on the record in one reckless event or more.

John F. Kennedy's children Caroline and John Jr. are excluded here. Caroline, with liberal bona fides aside, has led a dignified life and seems to guard her esteem to the level that grandpa Joe would have been pleased.

I also admired the way Jon-Jon carried himself. Sure he lived the swank life in Manhattan with brilliant, sexy women clung to him 24/7 and had some issues passing the bar exam but he was quite likeable and seemed to have a good head on his shoulders.

I lived on the southcoast when John Jr's plane crashed off of Martha's Vineyard and physically observed the search and recovery effort by the US Navy. I felt a sincere sorrow for the guy and his family. Living in Greater  New Bedford, one gets only the filtered news about the Kennedys but if you pay attention to outside media, the information grew to allow the honest pundit to condemn the one called Patrick.

Unlike uncle Ted's son Patrick, John walked toward a possibility of a political life, smelling the flowers along the way. Patrick got his degree from Providence College and sprinted to an assumed life in Washington. Before the ink dried on his Bachelor's of Science degree, Patches demanded a congressional district and Daddy better get him one! He reminds me of that redheaded brat in The Dead End Kid who demanded the Easter egg from Bugs Bunny.

Patrick, or "Patches" as he is known with antipathy, has been representing Rhode Island as congressman since he was 21 years old. No qualifications except the last name. Ever since he has been an embarrassment to any who value the Kennedy name and today has an approval rating rivaling gum disease.

This congressman has never held a real job, has never had to engage in the real world and has no clue what average Americans go through from week to week.  He has been caught high on drugs and like any card carrying liberal enabler, finds no fault in himself but is a victim.

Sorry Patrick but the real victims are the kids who will be approached by the drug dealers that you financed and helped to continue to ply their trade on middle school students. The victims are the cops who will face more bullets on the streets when they eventually raid the drug dealer who's pockets you stuff with each purchase.

An irresponsible manboy with the immaturity handicap that you have does not belong in Washington D. C. being heard on important issues that are quite evidently beyond your limited scope. Here is the accident report copy filled out by Patches the night he was pulled over high as a kite and ready to kill anyone in the path of his vehicle COPY

Being a Kennedy is often quite useful.  Police who responded to Patches'  accident when he smashed into a barrier, never gave him a field sobriety test and drove him home. Witnesses claim to have observed him pounding down alcohol at the Hawk & Dove bar prior to the accident.

Patches said he was on his way to an important vote (3 AM) but congress left session at 9 PM the night before.  Patches blamed the accident on Ambien and Phenergan. I'd link the two drugs but the lame story is such obvious bull kaka that I won't waste your time.

Patrick has admitted that he battles mental illness and so apparently agrees with many of the rest of us that he is nuts. Should a crazy person be in congress? Yes if Democrats have their way.

Upon his dad's demise, Republican state senator Scott Brown won the US senate race to replace Ted Kennedy and Patrick now calls the election in Massachusetts "a joke".

To 90% of the world, Scott Brown has not demonstrated himself to be anything less than impressive. The court jester of congress is Patrick Kennedy.

There are a few comparisons to compare the dropoff in the talent of the father to the son. Some that came to mind are below:

Or...perhaps the one that reminds me of Ted to Patrick the most.....

Patrick it is you who fails the nation, your family and yourself. It is you who is the joke.
