Mrs. Stanek worked at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois from 1993 to 2001. When she worked in the hospital's Labor and Delivery Department she saw that babies who survived abortion attempts were left to die alone in supply rooms. They could linger for as long as eight hours, without medical care, without even the dignity of a warm blanket or a soft touch. Their tiny bodies were then dumped in the trash. Mr. Obama's spiritual mentor served on the board of the hospital. Mrs. Stanek went on a public crusade to protect these children.

At a 2001 Illinois legislature hearing, Mr. Obama questioned Mrs. Stanek. She insisted that children needed medical care if they were born alive. Mr. Obama said: "Ms. Stanek, your initial testimony last year showed your dismay at the lack of regard for human life. I agreed with you last year and we suggested that there be a Comfort Room or something of that nature be done. The hospital acknowledged that and changes were made and you are still unimpressed. It sounds to me like you are really not interested in how these fetus [es] are treated, but rather not providing absolutely any medical care or life to them."

Mrs. Stanek replied: "What the hospital did was try to make things look better. What it really is, is that the baby is still dead."

In committee testimony, Mr. Obama said it was sufficient to give "comfort care" to a baby that is born despite all the efforts to kill it. "Comfort care" means giving the infant a warm blanket and permitting the baby to be held by someone as it dies. This is the most Mr. Obama could find in his heart to provide - a warm blanket for a child grasping for life. Mrs. Stanek told The Washington Times that Mr. Obama showed callousness when he questioned her in committee testimony: His inability to grasp that babies born alive need medical care was disturbing.

Mr. Obama wants to uphold an abortion policy that has a disproportionate impact on blacks. The Alan Guttmacher Institute, a nonprofit organization focused on sexual and reproductive health research, finds that 13% of the U.S. population is black, but 37 percent of all abortions are performed on black women and teens: Blacks are 4.8 times as likely as whites to have an abortion. A vote for Mr. Obama is, in effect, a vote that permits the disproportionate elimination of blacks in America." - Washington Times Editorial 11/02/08

Despite the fact that Planned Parenthood was founded by unapologetic racist Margaret Sanger who once warned her co-conspirators "We do not want word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population ", Barack Obama is about to add to the elimination of African Americans due to the agenda which is alive and well in this sinister abortion mill.

Senator Obama has a 100% rating on pro-choice votes by NARAL, a leading, national pro-choice organization.

For months now I have been pleading with all Americans to reject this man, not because he is half African American as some of my critics would accuse me of, but because he is unquestionably indentured to the leftist and ugly agenda which hurts all Americans, particularly African Americans. Representative Barney Frank, the House Financial Committee Chairman was in Westport, Massachusetts yesterday weeks after the nation began to point to his actions and more importantly his inactions regarding Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (FM2) and the $780B bailout. Frank addressed the Fall River Chamber of Commerce at White's of Westport and unlike any time in recent memory, he decided to duck into the back door discreetly to avoid the 20 - 25 protesters who awaited his arrival on Rte 6. The protest was organized by former GOP state committeeman Steve Martin of E. Freetown. Noted protesters included GOP State committeewoman Linda Rapoza, candidate for state representative C.J. Ferry and associate producer of the Ken Pittman show Bob Grant.

Standard Times reporter Steve Urbon reported on the event in an article today which is kind of like having James Carville report on the Monica Lewinsky scandal. Anyone who has ever heard the venomously loyal defense of the liberal wing of the Democratic Party on Mr. Urbon's shockingly irresponsible radio program can dismiss the idea of any objective reporting on issues surrounding one of his political heroes such as congressman Franks.

If facts matter then perhaps we can examine the fact that Urbon doesn't quote any opposition, instead allowing only Rep. Franks to define his own performance. Urbon states that about 12 protesters were present but there were closer to twice that. Somehow, there is no mention of Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac in the entire article of 640 words by Urbon. Amazing.

In addition, banks, thrift institutions and mortgage companies have been pressing Fannie Mae to help them make more loans to so-called subprime borrowers. These borrowers whose incomes, credit ratings and savings are not good enough to qualify for conventional loans, can only get loans from finance companies that charge much higher interest rates -- anywhere from three to four percentage points higher than conventional loans.

''Fannie Mae has expanded home ownership for millions of families in the 1990's by reducing down payment requirements,'' said Franklin D. Raines, Fannie Mae's chairman and chief executive officer. ''Yet there remain too many borrowers whose credit is just a notch below what our underwriting has required who have been relegated to paying significantly higher mortgage rates in the so-called subprime market.''

Demographic information on these borrowers is sketchy. But at least one study indicates that 18 percent of the loans in the subprime market went to black borrowers, compared to 5 per cent of loans in the conventional loan market.

In moving, even tentatively, into this new area of lending, Fannie Mae is taking on significantly more risk, which may not pose any difficulties during flush economic times. But the government-subsidized corporation may run into trouble in an economic downturn, prompting a government rescue similar to that of the savings and loan industry in the 1980's.

''From the perspective of many people, including me, this is another thrift industry growing up around us,'' said Peter Wallison a resident fellow at the American Enterprise Institute. ''If they fail, the government will have to step up and bail them out the way it stepped up and bailed out the thrift industry.''
