Ken Pittman
Ken Pittman is the afternoon voice for Greater New Bedford's WBSM 1420.
From 2PM thru 6PM M-F..
Ken's Bio
Jeff Beatty has been over achieving since day one. His natural parents have no idea just who it was they chose not to raise. As it happens the orphan named Jeffrey Beatty today, was adopted four days after birth to wonderful parents. He has become a man Tom Clancy would have eventually created. He doesn't know any specifics about his ethnicity other than the fact that he is an American.

Jeff devoted most of his adult life to service for his country. He was a US Army officer until it became apparent that he was a very special soldier. He joined the most elite military unit in US history; Delta Force, subsequently he engaged the Cuban forces in Grenada although he downplays his combat history, those who served with him sure don't. The helicopter he was in, a Black Hawk, was shot down and although seriously wounded, he helped to rescue many US medical students and staff at St. George's University . One of the rescued, Dr. Jeff Geller of Connecticut said, "I can tell you with no uncertainty, they saved our lives today."
Beatty went on to become a CIA counter-terrorist specialist and interrupted, intercepted and engaged against Islamo- terrorism after the cold-war. He has worked as an FBI Hostage Crisis agent and is now the owner/operator of a security company based in Massachusetts.
Compare this to John Kerry who missed 80% of the Senate Intelligence Committee meetings during the Clinton years and we see an extreme record of dedication to that of one which has demonstrated malfeasance of duty, vacationing and finding other things more important than keeping close attention to an ever-growing threat which al Qa'eda was then and remains today.
Beatty is reaching out to labor in Massachusetts, noting that in John Kerry's state the fishing union was broken down, weakened and disappeared in the Democratic stronghold of the City of New Bedford. Where was the help? Why is John Kerry interested in seeing illegal immigrants take jobs from American citizens?
When Mr. Kerry was elected in 1984, a barrel of oil was $29 and since then he has blocked nuclear energy, clean coal, wind, gas and oil explorations and can rightfully be blamed for the bottlenecking of energy needs today.
Labor, energy, security. Senator Kerry gets failing grades on all of them.
Today, Jeff will be taking on a US Senator thought to be among the safest elected politicians in congress but since 9/11, Americans have been paying much more attention to politicians and this development has not served Mr. Kerry. In a recent Zogby poll, Beatty and Kerry were in a statistical tie after Massachusetts voters learned of Beatty's resume`.
Not bad for an orphan left to face the world alone just four days old.

It's long past time that John Kerry (and Kennedy for that matter) gave up their seats - oh yeah, and no more Kennedys please - if the old man resigns for medical reasons, please don't vote in another Kennedy. It's not like it's their entitlement - even though they're acting that way already.

As a former Ogonowski supporter, and a young Republican, there is nothing more I want to see than John Kerry be defeated. But Beatty is going to have to convince me why I should vote for him. He needs to unite the split and ask for Ogonowski's supporters support.

Great! Kerry needs to be stopped just as much as does Obama! We need representation of the people and not just what our elected officials believe is best for us. Truth be told, Kerry is about as useless as more sand in the dessert. It's time for a refreshing concern for all American Citizens regardless of how they vote. One may only hope the electorate will vote with their minds and not their patronage hand sticking out looking for yet another liberal handout.
