Ken's Bio
Flashback; Hillary Clinton has just lost Super Tuesday and is insisting that people understand Senator Obama has no substantive record to stand by and is relying on nothing more than words. Just Words? Barack Obama took the opportunity to preach on the value and importance of words. Quoting the greatest segments from the greatest speeches in American history, an idea he clumsily borrowed from Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, even parroting the phrases themselves as Patrick used them last year. (link)
Now with his foot in his mouth after smugly lauding the importance of words, Senator Obama has done a complete 180 degree turnabout and is demanding that people not put too much emphasis on words. This philosophical switch is of course due to the ugly and venomous rhetoric by Senator Obama's pastor and spiritual mentor Rev. Jeremiah Wright.
Wright has proven to me that he is not teaching the love of Christ but the hatred of whites. All of them.
Several problems develop for Obama now that Rev. Wright has been exposed and has been credited by Obama as being his spiritual mentor for the last twenty years. Mr. Obama has insisted that he is a Christian and not a Muslim as his name infers. He has stated that he belongs to Rev. Wright's church and has for over twenty years. OK so is it coincidence that Mr. Obama has not once been present to hear the vitriolic rants from this "Christian" pastor? If he wasn't present on all of those given Sundays then where was he? At home? At a Mosque? Has he cornered himself?
"This is as openly radical a background as any significant American political figure has ever emerged from, as much Malcolm X as Martin Luther King Jr. Wright is not an incidental figure in Obama's life, or his politics. The senator "affirmed" his Christian faith in this church; he uses Wright as a "sounding board" to "make sure I'm not losing myself in the hype and hoopla." Both the title of Obama's second book, The Audacity of Hope, and the theme for his keynote address at the Democratic National Convention in 2004 come from Wright's sermons. "If you want to understand where Barack gets his feeling and rhetoric from," says the Rev. Jim Wallis, a leader of the religious left, "just look at Jeremiah Wright."
Obama wasn't born into Wright's world. His parents were atheists, an African bureaucrat and a white grad student, Jerry Falwell's nightmare vision of secular liberals come to life. Obama could have picked any church — the spare, spiritual places in Hyde Park, the awesome pomp and procession of the cathedrals downtown. He could have picked a mosque, for that matter, or even a synagogue. Obama chose Trinity United. He picked Jeremiah Wright. Obama writes in his autobiography that on the day he chose this church, he felt the spirit of black memory and history moving through Wright, and "felt for the first time how that spirit carried within it, nascent, incomplete, the possibility of moving beyond our narrow dreams." - Rolling Stone Magazine article titled Destiny's Child
We cannot judge someone without walking in their shoes etc. but we can accumulate what we have been shown by the candidate and his inner circle and for me, I am increasingly concerned;
1) He refuses to wear an American flag on his suits. * He says this is based on refusing to take part in "fake patriotism or faux support". If this is his philosophy then why has one Barack Obama pin or bumper sticker ever been printed?!
2) He is observed at ceremonies with his hand by his side not over his heart during the national anthem.
3) His wife has become proud of her nation of America for the first time in January of 2008
4) His pastor and spiritual mentor doesn't want God to bless America but to damn her instead.
Yesterday, as Senator Obama tried to cool the heated nation still reeling from the Youtube videos and soundbites on talk radio, he refused to disown Rev. Wright but did agree that his utterances were inflammatory. However I have strong doubts as to the frankness Barack was willing to offer, "Not once in my conversations with him have I heard him talk about any ethnic group in derogatory terms, or treat whites with whom he interacted with anything but courtesy and respect." - Senator Obama
The man that wants America to trust him, must trust them with the truth. Surely this intelligent man realizes how hard credibility is to build for a politician...and how easy it is to lose it.

Obama "entire" speech was extremely important and should be seen that way by all Americans. Because regaurdless of a persons politics,"racism" has no boarders or political affliations, and within a country that is the melting pot of the world, it has become the elephant in the room. Sen. Obama was put into a difficult position and he came out of it articulating the root of the problem, both honestly and equally from both sides of the spectrum. His speech was very important to most Americans and will not cure but it will undoubtly help in making "a more perfect Union" as his speach entailed. With that said I will leave you to your smearing, good luck!!

When will you "disown" Pope Benedict and the RCC for slamming your precious war? When will Daddy Bush "disown" spiritual advisor Billy Graham, who, as audio tapes reveal, agreed wholeheartedly with Richard Nixon's contention that Jews had a "stranglehold" on America and the media?

On p. 94-95 he describes an effective tactic to deal with White people:
It was usually an effective tactic, another one of those tricks I had learned: People were satisfied so long as you were courteous and smiled and made no sudden moves. They were more than satisfied; they were relieved - such a pleasant surprise to find a well-mannered young black man who didn't seem angry all the time.

Ken didn't say the speech (ee not ea) wasn't important. If you can read then you can see that he blew some gaping holes in the things that were said. Get past the emotional argument and let us know where he was wrong. Somehow you saw "smearing" where I saw keen observation.

I'll start by "smearing" Obama's integrity. The man has told so many differing versions of what he heard when he heard it and what he thinks about it. It was almost a lock that he would receive the demo nomination, save an intercession by the 'super' delegates. Now, he has only hope for change in the attitudes of his foes. For his wife's earlier writings to be hidden, his minister's attitude to be accepted as an allegory of the past and his personal opinions that his grandmother's image could assuage the damage is far more hope or change than any one man could ever expect us to accept. long live the memory of Barak Obama's chance at the White House. We have been once again spared from a great American error! Long Live The United states of America and the Freedom granted by it's Constitution!

I don't trust Obama at all. For reasons listed above in what Ken said, and from what I have read and came to realize on my own. It is a scary thing who he chooses to align himself with and have in his life. He won't wear the American flag, or put his over his heart during the National Anthem. He does not love this country and shouldn't be President of it. Smoke and mirrors is all that he is about. He gives good speeches, but so do con artists.
