"It is unconstitutional to incarcerate someone for a crime he may commit in the future." - Dr. Mark Whaley (as quoted in the New Bedford Standard Times), a former psychiatrist at the Sex Offender Division at Bridgewater State Mental Hospital. Apparently the doctor is ignorant of the laws in Massachusetts which do allow the state to hold, indefinitely, anyone deemed too dangerous to be released into society according to "expert witness testimony". *Dr. Whaley is actually supposed to be one of these.
Judges: Lopez, Marini and now Moses. Three Massachusetts judges who have abandoned all reason and let dangerous pedophiles free to destroy the lives and souls of more victims and their families. Hey Massachusetts, BLAME YOURSELVES. Yes it is the Bay State which encourages deviants to come here. Massachusetts, a state which hosted GLAD (Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders) parades which once invited NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) to march in unity of "celebration of the diversity of sexual preference". The offer of inclusion ended after two NAMBLA members raped and murdered a little boy named Jeffrey Curley in Cambridge, MA. A state which offers incarcerated pedophiles Playstation III and cable TV.
A state that has liberal governors (both RINO and Democrat) who appoint liberal judges that sympathize with all that is wrong and scoff at the victims. It is a state with a monolithic Governor's Council that is 100% liberal. As long as a judicial nominee isn't pro-life, they're in. Hell, one nominee actually donated to Governor's Councilor Carol Fiola shortly before his council interview..and shortly before she voted for him. I'm sure he is doing fine work today Carol "“I am glad I am not a judge. We have close to 400 judges and you don’t hear about all of the fine work that they do. You only hear about those cases that are brought forward by the media,” - Carol Fiola Cape Cod Today Oct 23, 2006. You don't hear much about referees who do good jobs during their games either Carol. You more likely to hear about the ones who blew them or threw them.
Moses, Marini and Lopez aren't alone but let's look at their now infamous rulings;
Judge Richard Moses:
Kenneth Stone; Multiple sexual assaults including attacks on women drivers in parking lots and once violently groping the breasts of a 68 year old victim's breasts to the point that hospitalization was required. Moses, despite pleas from an expert psychiatrist and the DA's office, stated that the people of Massachusetts had not really made the case that this guy was likely to attack again.
Robert Marshall; Admitted to molesting thirteen (13) children who's ages ranged from 4 to 12 years of age. Once sentenced to 10 years in prison, the sentence was then suspended and instead, he was put on a two year probation period. He violated probation soon after. Moses ruling? Not proven by the court that this man would likely re-offend.
Corey Saunders; Convicted of sexual battery and attempted rape of a child in 2001 when he was found attacking a seven year old boy, Judge Moses later wrote that Saunders "hadn't attacked small boys in seven years". Well, that is only because Saunders was behind bars for those seven years and had no access to them. Still Judge Moses saw a clean record and let him loose. On January 31, 2008 Saunders was accused of raping a 6 year old boy in the New Bedford Public Library.
Moses was appointed by (R)Governor Jane swift and (D)Rep. John Quinn of Dartmouth spoke on Moses' behalf in front of the Governor's Council during nomination period.
Judge Francis Marini:
David Smith; Presided over the now infamous ruling of former Taunton police officer David Smith who admitted to raping his adopted seven year old daughter nearly every night for a year.
Smith was put on pre-trial probation and if he doesn't re-offend before June of 2009 he will have no record. Child advocates expressed shock and disbelief over what many felt was Bristol County District Attorney (D)Paul Walsh's special treatment of a police officer. Walsh lost his next bid to be re-elected as Bristol County DA to challenger (D)Sam Sutter.
Francis Marini, former Massachusetts (R)state representative from Hanson. Appointed by (R)Governor Jane Swift.
Judge Maria Lopez:
The now infamous Massachusetts judge known for her lashing out at a prosecutor and screaming for him to "sit down", taking the position of the transvestite pedophile before her for attacking a small boy. After admitting to kidnapping the child and pressing a screwdriver against his throat demanding oral sex in a car hidden in a parking lot of a vacant building, Judge Lopez claimed that prosecutor Paul Ware of the Suffolk County DA's office "never presented evidence that Charles 'Ebony' Horton was a dangerous pedophile."
She was later suspended then resigned for her conduct and for lying to the judiciary panel.

Richard Somma who was just busted for DUI in Manchester, NH. When Little Richie got out of his car, police say he was wabbling, slurring and..well..he..uh.. was..wearing fishnet stockings, heels, a cocktail dress and fumbling through his purse to find his license. (Damn heels) I'm disturbed when I conssider what he may have been wearing under his robes. It's arraigning men!
