Ken's Bio
Senator John McCain seems to get irritable when anyone asks about his questionable legislation that is not consistent with conservative values. "I'm a Ronald Reagan Revolution foot soldier since the beginning", says the senator from Arizona. *It's possible he was a foot soldier in Washington's revolution but his age isn't as relevent as his positions;). Don't get me wrong I'm not suggesting McCain is a socialist liberal or anything close but he is in no way to be mistaken as a conservative.
For one thing his confessed affection for Reagan's legacy is in doubt when one considers that John McCain is trying to make Ronald Reagan a liar. Reagan promised a "one time amnesty" for two to three million illegal aliens within our borders in 1986. I disagreed with Reagan about that measure but as we approach the one year anniversary of the controversial Michael Bianco raid in New Bedford, MA , McCain's plan to grant amnesty to 15,000,000+ illegal aliens who have not yet been caught committing other crimes while here is ludicrous and flies in the face of the promise of "The Elvis" of conservatives, President Reagan.
McCain-Feingold: An attempt of an act of good faith but the product of naivity and the results? Moveon.org and other nasty proxies who have circumnavigated the rules and wreak havoc on most relevant non-Marxist campaigns across the country. "Trust but verify" - Reagan. Did you John? No, in fact despite the pleas from conservatives who warned him of the attack on the first amendment and the reckless rolling of the dice the change could mean, McCain was obsessed with showing America that he could cross the aisle. Thanks for that one too Mac.
McCain- Kennedy: "Venir a los Estados Unidos. Vamos a pagar por toda lo de". (Come to the United States. We are going to pay for all of it.) I realize that Senator McCain is a border state senator. So What? That somehow gives him a free pass to shove security and sovereignty to the side?
Senator John McCain was a noble U.S. airman who put himself last in Vietnam. I respect that more than I can say. But as I comment on Senator Kerry's record once out of uniform, I do for McCain as well. Thank you for your service but you are no conservative. You are reckless with the future of America's sovereignty on this immigration issue and you need to adjust or step aside.

While McCain is out and about campaigning his home state of Arizona is passing laws regarding illegals like crazy. I guess it was something they couldn't do when he was around. Now they have some elbow room to act on the concerns of their legal residents and their best interest without fighting McCain along the way.
Yep. Things are getting done in Arizona - in the absence of McCain.

I agree with your assessment of McCain's stance on the Immigration issue. He needs to look more closely at Ronald Reagans's mistake. An American Hero, he tarnishes his loyalty with this stand on illegals.

I trust John McCain to get America back on track and I ask the voters of Massachusetts to cast their ballots for John McCain.
