Polls showing the folks still like Obama while strongly opposing what he's done to date, is akin to people who just loved the salesman so they bought that AMC Pacer in the 70's ...

Here's what 1 buyer may have written to AMC's CEO after the purchase...

Dear Mr. Romney thank you for the opportunity to purchase my 1975 AMC Pacer...

I'm beginning to think I made a mistake, I think perhaps I may have been mislead by your salesman & I would like some reassurance from your company about my recent acquisition...

I mean, sure , there were other people selling different AMC models... In truth there were even people selling the same model in other colors, but the guy in the plaid suit with the Pink Pacer just caught my eye...

His sales pitch was so perfect I didn't even notice he wore shorts instead of slacks...

He told me of his struggles in a very tough market...  How he had endured so much abuse from  his co-workers just to become a salesman...
If he didn't make this sale  his wife would be scarred for life Hell, after a while I didn't care about the car he was selling at all only that I bought it from him...

I know the Pink Pacer doesn't get the gas mileage advertised, but the salesman said I could expect what I am getting for the first twenty-five miles and after that, there is a 30% chance it could get worse.

With all that glass it does feel strange that everyone can see all the goings on inside my car, but as the salesman says the kids sure do like the view from the back seat. I only wish I had kids so they could enjoy the view. Like he said though, one size fits all is what's "best" for all.
Besides as the salesman so skillfully reminded me, though I no longer have any privacy when I'm driving, less glass means fewer blind spots, so my potential for an accident goes down exponentially...
Yes the car cost me a lot more than the the sticker said but here again the salesman was right, there is a certain peace of mind that comes with the undercoating ...

But the best thing about it is, the salesman assured me that the warranty program he's going to be sending me after the first fifty- thousand miles on my new pink Pacer , will ensure that if anything ever does break down the good folks at American Motors fix it in the long run... & For not much of an additional fee I might add...

Thank you
John T Sapp

P.S.
Though I knew both test drivers & consumer reports said the car had a tendency to pull to the left upon breaking; mine seems to be doing this at highway speed, is there any chance a recall will be announced to cure this problem? Or should I just wait and see if it straightens itself out over time?
