Ken's Bio

Rush Limbaugh is someone who I admire and respect an awful lot. While I tend not to have any “heroes” in politics, Limbaugh comes pretty close. Before I became a radio talker, I was and remain today a licensed private investigator. Day after day, year after year, Rush would lead the way and open the eyes of conservatives by helping them observe the things that only he could see until he articulated them to his massive audience. I would sit and listen from surveillances or en route to my cases and grow ever more impressed with his gift of analysis.
He remains the same today. While I find my own talking points and my own philosophy I happily confess that on many days I do listen to Rush before I go on the air myself. I like the guy but like him or not he is a genius.
After the heavy losses suffered by Republicans in 2008 there was an obvious and solemn void of leadership. A wake of the Bush Era perhaps but with the rise of President Obama and an increase of powers by the likes of Pelosi, Reid and socialistic engineers steering policy, there was literally no one in Washington, elected or otherwise doing the job of rallying conservatives.
What did we do? We went to our friends who we’ve relied on for years; Talk Radio personalities. We went to Rush. We went to Sean, Michael, Lars, Neal and locally in the People’s Republic of Massachusetts we went to Howie Carr or Ken Pittman but we went to the folks who remind us why we are right and why America is better and truer by holding on to traditional values and fiscal responsibility.
The one stronghold remaining as a threat to certain Democratic longevity is Talk Radio. Collectively we are that strong. This is not lost on President Obama; it is not lost on liberals in the Senate or House of Representatives. It is obsessed over in radical E-rags and they ARE all determined to do something about us.
My producer Bob Grant and I both feel that Rush Limbaugh (not unlike RNC chairman Michael Steele) might be walking into a trap by entertaining the idea the Democrats have created.
"If your enemy is of hearty appetite, feed him; if vain, pay him many compliments..."
Is it possible leftists seeking to impose the Fairness Doctrine have put down their copy of Mao's "Little Red Book" long enough to read another classic from the Orient?
While President Obama has feigned a concern for signing the Fairness Doctrine, we aren’t accepting this as a refusal to do so. Senator Dick Durbin is putting forth a bill (S160) that “promotes diversity in communication media ownership and to ensure that broadcast station licenses are used in the public interest.”
In other words the Fairness Doctrine for all basic purposes has gone forward and the Good Cop/ Bad Cop tactic by President Obama and The Dick.. Durbin did not go under the radar of the conservative media, Rush included.
Our concern here is that Rush may have taken the bait.
Since when do the usual haters like Katie Couric, Keith Olbermann and even the perpetually irritating Rahm Emanuel start heaping praise and glory to Rush Limbaugh’s role as the leader of the GOP?
If the Democrats are only too happy to suddenly praise Mr. Limbaugh for seizing the reins of a “rudderless ship”, it can be for no small reason. They will now say that the Democratic Party deserves equal air-time as the Republican “leader” Rush Limbaugh.
Rush is the unparalleled and absolute King of Talk Radio but he is not the leader of the Republican Party. He serves and advises but let him do so in the capacity he does best. Rush is not the General but instead, the ever capable Master Sergeant maintaining morale while the real heir to leadership is chosen. I hope that this fan and ally has served him here as well.
