President-elect Obama sure has evolved since he secured the presidency on November 4th. Running on "Change", he has been implanting in his administration Washington staples like Tom Daschle, Hillary Clinton, Paul Volcker, Lawrence Summers, Eric Holder, Rahm Emmanuel, John Podesta, Robert Rubin, Laura tyson and Robert Reich. All these "same old same olds" offer no Change. His smartest endorsers and supporters are probably cringing at the auspicious start to his plan..

"Yes we......probably can't
Team Obama has been quite active on the Sunday circuit and press media pow-wows in the last two weeks trying to lower expectations, quell the implied success story sure to come and frankly, to be a bit more honest about what Americans should reasonably expect from a great candidate who now has to accomplish real things in a real world. In his victory speech on election night, Mr. Obama was quick to ask all Americans to understand that turning things around may take more than one term as president.

He has also started to condition folks to embrace the Bush tax cuts. Yeah, you know the same tax cuts which he lambasted Senator McCain for his support of them. Now since he won the seat he has "evolved his position" (* a little tip for you; when a politician which you support flip-flops on an issue he or she evolves their position). Yes it seems that the tax cuts turned out to be better for the economy afterall. In other words, as Holly Robichaud puts it: the Republicans were right and the Democrats were wrong.

It also seems that President-elect Obama has now seen the wisdom in continuing the fight against terror in Iraq, "As long as it takes". Gee this seems as though Obama and McCain should have shared the ticket. Funny how things worked out. May through October Barack Obama toured the nation and spent over $800 million dollars convincing people that the Bush plan in Iraq and the Bush tax cuts were dead wrong but on November 5th, it all mysteriously took a sharp turn. Now that is Change.

I can feel it up here in New Bedford. No not the "thrill up my leg" feeling that quasi gay Chris Matthews felt. I feel a chill up my spine that America has elected a President that I warned of.

The Audacity of Dopes begins. Stay tuned...
