When selecting who we next trust with the future & security of this country all we have to measure a candidate by are what we know about the person, & their work in any given legislative body... Since both of these areas remain, shall we say, clouded in Mr. Obama's case, other criteria, such as past relationships must factor into our decision making process...
 
And so it occurred to me, while listening to Senator Obama recount yet another version of his relationship with 60's radical, turned tenured Prof. Billy Ayers & his wife Bernadine Dohrn at the last debate,  that I had forgotten the extent of the Weather Undergrounds activities in the late 60's & early 70's... I remembered them getting off on a technicality and the famous quote by Ayers "Free as a bird... Guilty as all Hell... You have to love America..." but not much more...
 
 After talking to a relative who came of age at the time who remembered just the same three bombings the media often cite the Pentagon, the Capital & the NYCity Police Station, I was left asking myself if that was the case or is it a case of the history being blurred by time & the media wishing, for Senator Obama's sake, that it were... 
 
A little research revealed the Weatherman actually committed some 250 known bombings from September 1969 to May 1970, (the government suspects them of many more), and they went underground for good after a bomb they were making prematurely detonated killing some of their members in a town house they were renting in New Jersey... Bill Ayers wife Bernadine Dohrn summed up what the movement was all about quite nicely when she said this about the Manson Family Murders...
 
"Dig it! First they killed those pigs, then they ate dinner in the same room with them, they even shoved a fork into the victim's stomach! Wild!
 
As a tribute to the barbaric acts of that night, her cell used a three finger "fork" salute... 
 
As stated above I for one believe Sen. Obama's known associations must be delved into and would further argue they are quite telling... Dohrn & Ayers are no exception...   Originally Obama described Ayers & Dohrn as "people in his neighborhood whose kids go to school with his kids", unless you live in a news void, we now know Senator Obama launched his political career in the Ayers living room, as well as worked on legislation & directly on endowment funding for Mr. Ayers' 4th "R" in Education, Radicalism....
 
Though some may still doubt whether Senator Obama had full knowledge of who these 2 characters were that night in 1996; at the very least it must be agreed that he lied about the extent of this relationship when first asked about it several months ago... That he didn't know full well who they were, I find very hard to believe... After all, am I all at once to believe that Senator Obama traveled in liberal circles his entire adult life, graduated from Occidental, Columbia & Harvard, is perhaps the most brilliant ( I agree he's quite intelligent) person to run for President in a generation, & still credibly believe he didn't know these 2 Icons of 60's radicalism???  Or is it really the most fortunate case of political ignorance this country has ever witnessed???
 
No, I think not.
It's time for us all to weigh in on Senator Obama by what we know of him to date & the unfortunate truth the media is trying desperately to hide from all of us is, whether  it's:
 His well documented history with ACORN. 
 Taking over $250K in illegal political startup funding from convicted influence peddler & notorious slumlord Tony Rezko.
 The 20 year association with the racist Rev. Wright  (another case of dubious / convenient ignorance). 
 Seeking "Housing Advice" from corrupt housing executives like Franklin Raines & Jim Johnson or educational funding for the radical programs of & working on teenage crime bills with Bill Ayers and his lovely Mrs. Housebomber.
 
There are just far too many instances of convenient ignorance in every aspect of Senator Obama's already murky public life, for me to believe a brilliant man didn't know who each and every one of them were.
