1982 NBHS Graduate - Honorably Discharged from USMC after serving from 7/82-6/86 - Journeyman Telecommunications Technichian.
A labor activist--with a lengthy history of successful civil litigation, (6-0), against the various "Ma Bell" offshoots. Licenced charter boat Capt. actively studying Radical Islam for over 20 years.
I am an unapologetic critic of Islam & feel reform within that religion is key to ultimate victory.
Like Eddie Johnson I suspect race may be an issue for some white voters in the upcoming Presidential race… Unlike Mr. Johnson & as a white man myself, I recognize there are two camps as it relates to this Issue… Both extreme & both foolish…
In the first camp we have the white voter who will not vote for Obama solely because he is black… In the second camp, which I for one believe to be the much larger camp, is the white voters who will vote for Obama solely because he is black… They are the "feel gooder" liberal elitists who have anointed themselves in the sanctimonious waters of White Man's Guilt…
They are denialists of the exceptionalism & all that Euro-Americanism has meant to mankind, people who embody the sentiments expressed by Dr. Steven Yeagley when he said…
“A people ashamed of their culture will not defend it..”
As for me, I marvel in the accomplishments of western man, the ability to post these words serve as a constant reminder he has illuminated the world, in every literal sense… As to race, I live by what I believe to be a universal maxim-
”Stamp out ignorance & racism dies as a by product”…
Any honest discussion on the theory of systemic racism in contemporary America requires that the truth be told & truth can only come from the telling of basic facts…
First one must allow that there are still people in this country who form dislikes to other human beings on the fact that their skin color differs from their own… However, it is equally correct this truism is not unique to Whites… Blacks are guilty of this, as are Hispanics & Asians…
No segment of this melting pot we call America is immune from people who believe their race or culture superior to any other…But for the purposes of this article we will focus on the merits of Mr. Johnson's assertion that endemic racism is a key factor in this race…
By every reasonable estimate better than 90% of Black America will be casting their vote for Sen. Obama… Even Black people who have railed against the soft bigotry of Affirmative Action & primarily vote for Republican’s plan on voting for Obama… For many a lifetime of empty political rhetoric about accountability rendered mute as they now cast their ballot for a radical leftist who claims in one breath to be able to heal the great divides of this country, and in the next chuckles while admitting he “tends not to be very persuasive when it comes to reaching across the aisle”…
To soothe the burn any of us non-blacks may feel when it comes to this apparent double standard, we are advised to be understanding because having “one of their own” heading up a major parties presidential ticket for the first time some how justifies abject hypocrisy…
Undermining systemic racism in the labor industry & the market place is a lot more complicated… I tend to disbelieve systemic racism in either, as witnessed by African & Caribbean Immigrants out earning native born blacks by 38% & having no problem (until recently)getting home loans… (Source for that stat is Thomas Sowell‘s ” Black Rednecks & White Liberals” ) …
For those unfamiliar with Mr. Sowell he is a black economist at Stanford, who also does double duty with the Hoover Institute… Mr. Sowell is, for my money, the brightest living intellectual mind this country has to offer…
Though it will never happen “Black Rednecks & White Liberals” should be required reading in every high school or college that offers course study in contemporary race relations in this country… Systemic racism on behalf of white people a significant factor in this election, Mr. Johnson your assertion is demonstrably laughable… Let's focus on the candidate in question shall we…
A proper look into Sen. Obama is precisely why the vile practice of reverse bigotry is being employed by low brow thinkers such as Mr. Johnson… His goal is to haphazardly lob the race bomb at anyone who tries to bring attention to facts that most voters would find disturbing about this Gatsby of a candidate… It is also hoped playing the race card will keep the voting public from looking into Senator Obama, the Congressional Black Caucus & their rather large role in the financial crisis, which has left so many working class people of all colors suffering financially…
In the coming days we will be discussing Senator Obama & the Congressional Black Caucus in great depth…
(Note to the readers...I have been advising people especially the editorial staff at the Standard Times 2 years ago to check into the source of contributions to members of the CBC & Progressive Caucus)...
After reading his books & researching his history these past couple of years, I feel I know Obama better than his parents… & That is what Obama supporters fear the most, some one who has delved into his life‘s history…
All this talk about Obama being “the one” & sycophants “coming to Obama” got me thinking, that if one left it up to the media to inform you about Obama, you’d know more about Jesus Christ from age 10 to 30 than you do about the man who might be our next President… Before November we shall have to remedy that… & we will…
We'll delve into his politics associations and his psychological traits… Suffice to say; we'll all have a better understanding of what “Coming to Obama” means for every day working Americans…
As I've been saying for 15 years this is not your fathers Democratic party, so be looking for quotes from people like Daniel Patrick Moynihan, the beloved Democratic Senator from New York who was himself labeled a bigot 40 years ago but today looks a lot more like Nostradamus…
Do stay tuned &
A personal note to Eddie Johnson... As the subject of one of your classless & immoral character assassinations; while I once had great respect and admiration for you as a thinker, I now know you for what you are-- an irresponsible practitioner of Identity Politics and perhaps one of the most despicable human beings this area has to offer… Good luck in regaining any measure of intellectual credibility outside of the African American community, Lord knows it has certainly taken a rather large hit low these past 2 years…
Human Pride World-Wide
