In a nutshell

I have the luxury to speak with some of the most gifted political minds in
America but it was a friend of mine who simplified this presidential race
as accurately as I think can be articulated. My friend, Steve Munro sees
it this way:

America has an opportunity to move in two directions, each one veering some
45 degrees away from each other as one travels down either road.
Senator Barack Obama comes from an unapologetic socialist school of thought while
Senator John McCain espouses a limited federal government in an America he
would lead.

Senator Obama did not serve in the US Military, saying though that he weighed
the option seriously as a young man. John McCain was a career Navy pilot, a POW in
the Vietnam War and still carries the burdens of being tortured as a prisoner.

Senator Obama rose quickly through the Chicago political machine via some
questionable connections like William Ayers, Reverend Jeremiah Wright and Antoin
Rezko. Mr. Obama, a left leaning community organizer forged strong political
grassroots campaign teams and quickly rode the winning formula to Washington.
John McCain started his career in Washington as a congressman and then rose to
senator after finishing his service in the military. He has now been a
US Senator for over 26 years.

Senator Obama has virtually no record of accomplishment but feels that he should
expect Americans to vote for him based on his confidence in his intellect.
Senator McCain feels that his life on record dedicated to his nation
demonstrates a man worthy of the voters consideration.

It really is this simple. Senator Obama feels entitled to be president while
Senator McCain feels deserving.
